Jun. 17th, 2008 @ 11:39 pm Fic: The One (Chapter 4--Could It Actually Be Different This Time?)
Series Title: The One
Rating: Series - R
Characters: Marc Denis, Brent Johnson, Scott Mellanby
Author's Notes: Co-written with [info]maniaco, who started writing this in September 2003, and then completed and co-authored by myself, in May 2008. The story is set in the 2002-2003 season, when Johnson was a St. Louis Blue, and Denis was a Columbus Blue Jacket, and if you need more information on where players were, check the hockey database rosters for that season. This fic holds residence Underneath the Stars, where all of [info]maniaco's wonderful fic can be found.
Disclaimer: Any similarity between the fictional version of the person portrayed here and the actual person is purely coincidental. This is a work of fiction. This is not an attempt to defame the character of said person on the basis of libel, as the work is FICTIONAL (and NOT an intently false statement created with the express purpose of misleading others about the actual character of said person).

So the question is
One: do I really wanna trust this feeling?
Two: do I wanna let it pass me by?
Three: do you think it's only superficial?
Four: could it actually be different this time?
Someone to love me
Someone to be my everything
Maybe I've stumbled upon
Finally found somebody
That could be the one
But I promised myself
That I wouldn't give in to love
And I'm scared
And I'm nervous
Don't wanna be hurt anymore
This is bad
'Cause I know that you're the one...

Jul. 4th, 2007 @ 01:25 am Fic: Into the Unknown (1/4)

Title: Into the Unknown, Part 1 of 4
Authors: Co-written by myself and

[info]cradle_song .
Rating: NC-17
Characters: Sidney Crosby, Gilbert Brule
Author's Notes: Completed in July 2007, I worked with [info]cradle_song to write this--we each wrote about half. (She is a phenomenal writer, and you can find her work at [info]windswept_fic . I recommend it highly!) This is written primarily in first person, alternating from Sidney to Gilbert and back and forth throughout the fic. The very first section, in italics, is third person, as a prologue to the story. After that, the first part is Sidney's point of view, and then with each marker, it switches throughout the end of the fic. Hopefully that wasn't too confusing.
